One of the flight test airlifters -- MSN2 -- has made an excursion to Kiruna, Sweden for four days of intense weather testing.
The airlifter was expected to up to -21 deg. C temperatures, enough to check off its test points at this point. An initial set of testing was conducted in Hamburg in December and more severe temperatures will be sought in later trials with a return visit to Sweden and other locations.
The flight test program -- that now involves four aircraft has been running ahead of schedule, although the pace of some of the contractual activity with the seven core buyers remains slow.
