The Egyptian Air Force has ordered three C295s from Airbus Military to increase its capacity in tactical and logistic transport, Arabian Aerospace reported.

The contract is Airbus Military's first with the Egyptian Air Force, which said it selected the C295 because of its ease of maintenance and proven operational capabilities, especially in desert areas.
The aircraft are slated for delivery in 2011
