Airbus has today followed Boeing in releasing its final order and delivery figures for 2010.
Here are the highlights:
Airbus BoeingDeliveries 510 462
Net Orders 5 74 530
Gross Orders 644 625
The Airbus orders reflect a much higher figure in terms of widebodies than Boeing, giving the European aircraft maker an edge in terms of the list-price value of the firm commitments booked, as well as a larger order number intake.
Airbus boss Tom Enders says his company will deliver more aircraft than Boeing again in 2011.
